Something New I've Learned To Do!
How to Make a Simple Homemade Coffee Creamer
Making a simple homemade coffee creamer truly is not a difficult process. With a few simple and easily attainable ingredients, you can create your own healthier alternative to the sugary, store-bought coffee creamers.
The ingredients you will need are as follows…
- A can of sweetened condensed milk.
- The milk of your choice, whether that’s whole, half-and-half, skim, or 2%.
- If you would prefer to use a non-dairy product, coconut milk, almond milk or a similar option is fine.
- Additionally, if you would like to control the sugar, using maple syrup will be fine to add as well. If you want a sugar-free creamer, simply disregard adding a sugar substitute entirely.
To make your simple homemade creamer, follow the directions below…
- Add both the sweetened condensed milk and the milk of your choice in a large bowl.
- Whisk vigorously to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a lidded jar and refrigerate. The mixture should keep for about 2 weeks if properly refrigerated.
If you would like to add sugar or a similar sugar substitute to your homemade creamer...
- Heat the milk and sugar or sugar substitute in a saucepan over medium-low and bring to a simmer.
- Whisk often to reduce the milk by half.

What's On the Horizon?
As we look into the future of Mama Beans On Holy Grounds, we are excited at what God has done and will continue to do. I am praying that by the end of the year we will have our very own pods for Mama Beans On Holy Grounds. What I've found out is that it takes time, and it is a process to get an online business off the ground. We launched our online business in March of 2022, and it's almost been a year. As you know our online coffee business also supports "Brown Girls Magic Mentoring & Leadership. We will feature our first Brown Girl Magic Leader, and we are so excited to hear what she has to say regarding leadership.
Upcoming Event for Brown Girls Magic
As some of you know some of our proceeds from the coffee sales helps our mentoring and leadership program. We are excited to have our very first Women of Color for Brown Girls Magic in March. Women of color are coming together from our community to celebrate leadership. There will be several speakers, fun, food, and conversation. Our conference will feature our newest coffee, and there will be door prizes as well. We'll keep you updated on how you can support these wonderful young women of color.
Thank You!
In closing,
I smile because I am full of hopes and dreams for Mama Beans On Holy Grounds. It was a 12 year dream, and now it has manifested and I am excited. I don't know what the future holds, but I trust the One who holds the future for Mama Beans On Holy Grounds. I want to thank all of you who have prayed and supported us, without you, we would not be able to do what we do. I think quite often about the saying "Rome was not built in a day." Although I might get discouraged, I keep on building on my hopes and dreams.
